R U OK? Day began in 2009 with the mission of encouraging all Australians to connect and support those who may be struggling. In industries like construction, where high-pressure environments, remote work and the stigma around mental health discourages meaningful conversations; causing a further toll on mental health; the importance of checking in with our team cannot be overstated.

At VAE, support is always available with more than 35 trained Mental Health First Aiders across our offices and our Employee Assistance Program with Drake Wellbeing.
