Asher Green is the Head of Human Resources at VAE Group, bringing over a decade of strategic HR leadership to the business. With a strong background in coaching & development, employee engagement, and risk management, Asher plays a pivotal role in aligning VAE’s people strategy with its operational and growth objectives.
Throughout her tenure at VAE, Asher has spearheaded transformative HR initiatives, including:
- Employee Wellness & Culture Programs: Led company-wide campaigns such as the Non Negotiables, Mental Health Month, VAE Vitality, and Mental Health first aid embedding wellbeing into the organisational fabric
- Talent Development & Engagement: Launched early career pathways and launched leadership and engagement initiatives that significantly improved employee retention and satisfaction.
- Diversity & Gender Equity focus: Promoted inclusive hiring practices and women-in-trades initiatives to support gender balance and workplace diversity
- HR Digital Transformation: Rolled out modern HR systems, enhancing data-driven decision-making, automated onboarding, and improved workforce efficiency.
Asher holds a Degree in Business (Human Resource Management) from the Griffith University and is a member of AHRI and HRNZ and is certified in a number of leadership and development products.
