Reporting to the Group Sales Manager – Service and based in Darra, the Business Development Manager – Service Maintenance will be responsible for managing and generating new business opportunities and maximizing sales in the Service Division.
Some of the key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities focused on service maintenance contracts.
- Support Customer Account Managers and Service Managers to maximise opportunities within the existing client base.
- Assist with competitive contract renewals to retain key clients and secure long-term agreements.
- Target market segments where VAE can successfully compete and develop relationships with key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong networks with clients, consultants, builders, facility managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare high-quality, value-driven bid submissions that address client needs and highlight VAE’s differentiators.
- Use estimating tools to accurately develop maintenance quotes and drive competitive subcontractor pricing.
- Manage sales administration including tender responses, quotation registers, and handover documentation.
- Actively contribute to a collaborative sales team culture and ensure timely responses to market enquiries.
