Investing in Safety & Skill

Working at Heights (W@H) Training for our NSW team

At VAE, safety and capability go hand-in-hand. This week, it was all systems go with some of our NSW team, taking part in vital Working at Heights (W@H) training, ensuring they have the technical skills and confidence to safely carry out tasks in elevated and often complex environments. With many of our projects requiring precision in high-risk areas, it’s essential our teams are well-prepared, fully certified, and always prioritising safety.

This training is not only about compliance—it’s about empowering our people with the right tools and knowledge to protect themselves, their teammates, and the communities we work in.

Working at Heights (W@H) training equips team members with the knowledge and practical skills to safely operate in elevated environments, including the correct use of harnesses, fall protection systems, and risk assessment procedures. In the HVAC industry, where technicians often work on rooftops, plant platforms, and confined elevated spaces, this training is essential. It not only ensures compliance with safety regulations but also protects our people while they install, maintain, and service critical building systems—allowing them to deliver quality outcomes without compromising safety.

By continuously investing in upskilling and development, VAE ensures our teams are industry leaders who deliver with Built in Certainty, no matter the challenge.

👏 Well done guys … Nathan & Samuel … these skills will continue to add to your on-the-job capabilities whilst continuing to reinforce VAE’s commitment to a safety-first culture.
