The Head of Building Technology &Automation will oversee Technology Sales, Projects, and Service — delivering integrated automation, energy management, and IoT solutions that embody our “Built-in Certainty” promise.

Some of the key responsibilities will include but not limited to: 

  • Set and execute the Technology Strategic Plan aligned with business objectives
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team across sales, delivery, and service operations
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across the division
  • Oversee project and service delivery to ensure outcomes meet quality, budget, and timeline targets
  • Build strong client and partner relationships to expand market share across ANZ
  • Lead forecasting, reporting, and resource planning to optimise performance
  • Collaborate with other business units to deliver seamless, integrated client solutions
  • Champion health, safety, quality, and risk management standards across all operations

HVAC Project Supervisor – Cairns

Reporting to the Service Manager – Cairns and based in Cairns, the Service Projects Supervisorwill play a vital role in managing and leading Service Projects in the Cairns region to achieve optimum profitability whilst providing certainty to our customers, our employees and our sub-contractors. Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Complete projects on time and within budget, maximizing variations.
  • Provide monthly cost estimates, cash flow, and progress claims.

  • Assist with tenders, evaluate specs, and follow up on pricing.

AirCon & Refrigeration Technician – Darwin

Reporting to the Customer Account Manager and based in Winnellie Darwin, youwill be responsible for performing hands on complex maintenance to all HVAC systems and working on various ongoing and upcoming jobs in the NT region.

Further incentives may also be available for additional work outside of Darwin, servicing contracts in regional NT.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide technical support as required
  • Conduct detailed inspections of buildings/sites

Your will report to the Technology Operations Manager and based in Sydney. As an BMS/Applications Engineer at VAE, you will work collaboratively within the Service and Project teams to design, implement, commission, and optimise building automation systems and integration platforms. Your focus will be on delivering high-performance solutions using DISTECH controllers within the Tridium Niagara framework, supporting systems across Building Management Systems (BMS), ICT networks, software development, cybersecurity, and mechanical/HVAC engineering.   • Design, program, and commission building automation and integration systems using DISTECH and Tridium Niagara.
