Construction is now complete on the $60 million upgrade of Cairns Central Shopping Centre, for Lendlease.
This project is the first major upgrade since the centre was built more than 20 years ago.
Works include the complete refurbishment of Myer across a larger single floor, the addition of Woolworths (providing another 80 jobs to the Cairns community), six new tenancies, a new fresh food market hall featuring extra dining options and food retailers.
VAE replaced essential services, ventilation services and constructed three new plantrooms.
