The Project

North West Private Hospital underwent a multi-million dollar redevelopment to cater for the ongoing population growth on Brisbane’s North side.
The hospital accommodation increased its capacity from 101 hospital beds to 150. With the establishment of a new Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including four intensive care beds and two critical care beds, the hospital enhanced its ability to treat more complex cases. The upgrade also included: New early parenting centre New operating theatres, additional procedure room and dermatology room Additional Stage 2 and 3 recovery capacity New rehabilitation unit Hospital stores and kitchen expansion Expansion to central sterilizing department New specialist consulting suites building, and expansion of Medical Records facilities
