This year’s NAIDOC Week theme, “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵, 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆,” acknowledges the proud histories, enduring cultures, and powerful voices that continue to emerge and shape the future for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

At VAE Group, we are proud to support and work alongside these communities, including remote and regional areas such as Thursday Island and the Torres Strait, where we deliver essential infrastructure projects while also 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

By employing local tradespeople and engaging with community stakeholders, we aim to contribute not only to the success of each project but also to 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲.

This NAIDOC Week, we look to the future where 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗮 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆.
