123 Albert Street underwent a major smart building technology upgrade, with VAE delivering the Master Systems Integration that brought key building services together through a secure Integrated Communications Network. As Technology Integrator, VAE led the coordination of specialised technology subcontractors to connect new and existing systems across the building, including BMCS, access control, CCTV, intercom, wireless networking, digital signage, indoor environmental monitoring and people counting. The project created a reliable, scalable and future-ready platform that supports smarter building performance, improved functionality and ongoing optimisation. Recognised with the IBTech Project Excellence Award at the ARBS 2026 Industry Excellence Awards, 123 Albert Street stands as a strong example of contemporary smart building technology delivered with certainty.
